Alberta South

For more than 20 years, approximately 150 CCCA members have counted on the CBA’s Calgary Corporate Counsel Chapter for educational programs and social events. That’s because the benefits are clear: we provide a collegial forum for members to meet, interact with each other, and share and receive information.

Ten meetings are normally held each year (September to June); noon-hour educational programs and after-work social events in particular continue to be very popular. We target a diverse membership representing many industries. Many of our educational sessions focus on recent court decisions or legislative issues, but we also feature practice-oriented topics.

With strong support from the CBA-Alberta, the Calgary Corporate Counsel Chapter provides a strong, local voice that can help address national topics and, increasingly, raise the CCCA's influence and profile within the legal industry. We extend a warm welcome to new members.
