Leading Change in a Brave New Regulatory World
April 23-25, 2006
Thank you to all who participated in this year's conference and to those of you who helped to make it such a success!
Participants networked with peers from across Canada and abroad at the luxurious and historic Château Laurier in Ottawa. The Opening Night Gala at the Museum of Civilization with Susan Aglukark has garnered rave reviews.
Opening Plenary & Workshops
Informative workshops and outstanding plenary sessions also included: The Criminalization of Environmental Liability; and When the Regulators Come Knocking: A Practical Guide to Internal Investigations.
We are very pleased with the feedback we have received about the quality of our workshops and thank all the excellent speakers who worked so hard to provide practical, helpful information to our delegates.
Pre-Conference Workshop - CCCA's Spring Training Camp
Presented by CCCA with Lex Mundi and its Canadian member law firms, our first-ever Spring Training Camp included two workshop streams that helped participants learn how to be as effective as possible in their new roles as managers and in-house counsel.
Participants enjoyed frank discussions about the issues which affect their daily practice. Our goal was to design sessions to foster an open exchange of ideas which provide solutions to take back to the office. By all accounts, we succeeded, so stay tuned for the dates for our next session!
Our sponsors are a crucial part of our success. CCCA wishes to thank its sponsors for their continued support.
