The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) is the voice of Canada's in-house counsel community. For over 20 years, we have gathered our community together to explore the most compelling issues of the day. We were the first to do so and are proud to continue this tradition into 2012.
From April 13-17, 2012, Montreal will serve as the venue for the World Summit (view Accreditation Details) and National Spring Conference (view Accreditation Details). These events represent an unparalleled opportunity to learn how global legal issues will influence domestic cases and vice-versa. Our program will deliver the information and perspectives that you need in order to succeed. On the evening of April 15, we will host a joint reception, bringing together both events and featuring keynote speaker Richard Susskind, widely acknowledged as a leading world authority on the future of legal services.

World Summit April 13-15
Our World Summit, developed in conjunction with other in-house counsel associations around the globe, provides an advanced-level discussion of the most pressing challenges and biggest opportunities common to in-house practice, as well as shared transnational legal and business issues. Cross-cultural proficiency and intelligence are now established competencies for businesses to compete in the world marketplace. In-house counsel must also be able to develop frameworks and support for negotiations, transactions, and operational and regulatory management and compliance that are accepted and enforceable in other jurisdictions. The World Summit is an extraordinary opportunity to gain valuable education, and meet experts and counsel from the around the world to help you and your organization navigate the constantly changing international landscape.

National Spring Conference April 15-17
The National Spring Conference, provides a program targeted solely to in-house counsel needs and attracts a vast cross-section of experience and sectors of the Canadian in-house community. Designed to help you identify the challenges in your in-house practice and to address them effectively, this conference promises to provide thought-provoking discussions and professional development opportunities, exciting keynote speakers and the chance to reconnect with your peers.
The National Spring Conference chosen charity is the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre.
Robert V.A. Jones Award
The Robert V.A. Jones Award is also presented annually at the National Spring Conference. This award recognizes an exceptional contribution to the development or the promotion of the in-house counsel bar or community, including significant research or writing on related issues.
